Jemma is a junior doctor currently working as a Medical Administration Registrar at St John of God Hospital Midland in Western Australia and is commencing RACMA training in 2019. She has previously worked in Paediatrics at Perth Children’s Hospital where she commenced Paediatric Training and Orange Health Service, where she discovered a newfound interest in rural medicine. She loves working with kids and has further interests in leadership in medicine, junior doctor welfare and medical education.
Jemma is currently the Postgraduate Medical Council Doctor In Training State Co-Chair for W.A and also sits on the Doctors in Training Advisory Council with Avant Mutual Group. She uses all her spare time to travel and so as a result, is frequently asked by people whether she actually holds down a full time job.
