Ken is a staff specialist transplant hepatologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney where he completed most of his junior medical training and advanced training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. In 2016, he spent a year overseas as the Hepatology Fellow at the Institute of Digestive Disease, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is currently also completing a PhD at the Centenary Institute, Sydney. Ken has authored or co-authored over 30 papers in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and presented his research at major international conferences. He also has a passion for teaching medical students and junior medical officers and has twice won the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Teacher of the Year award.
