Clinical Associate Professor Gattas is a senior staff Intensivist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He is the Director of Research in the Intensive Care Unit of RPA, and a senior Honorary Research Fellow in the Critical Care and Trauma division of the George Institute for Global Health.
David has completed postgraduate training in Clinical Epidemiology (MMed, Usyd 2006), and serves on the Executive Committee of the ANZICS clinical trials group, and the clinical trials sub-committee of the Sydney Local Health District Ethics Review Committee. David’s areas of research interest include resuscitation fluids, renal replacement therapy, and rapid response systems.
